The David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Trustees who are responsible for setting the Foundation’s strategy, safeguarding its charitable purpose and ensuring all funds are applied effectively and in line with Charity Commission guidance. The Trustees bring a broad range of expertise, creating a balanced and well-rounded Board.

Mark Dillon
Board of Trustees co-chair

Mark co-chairs the Board of Trustees, bringing particular expertise in governance, risk management and board effectiveness.

Mark recently retired after ten years as Head of Corporate Administration at David Lloyd Clubs, where he also served as Board Secretary. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Governance Professional, he has held directorships across a range of UK businesses and brings extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance and organisational oversight.

Mark is passionate about creating opportunities for young people through physical activity. Having benefited from swimming lessons and sport from an early age, he recognises the lifelong impact that access to movement can have on confidence, wellbeing and future opportunities.

Mark enjoys playing badminton and kayaking. He is also a keen amateur musician, playing keyboards and singing with a local choral society.

Mia Manson-Bishop
Board of Trustees co-chair

Mia is Co-Chair and a Founding Trustee of the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation, playing a leading role in establishing the charity and shaping its long-term vision, governance and strategy.

She is a member of the Executive Team at David Lloyd Clubs, where she has held several senior leadership roles across operations and member experience. During her time with the business, she has helped drive significant growth, leading large-scale transformation programmes that have strengthened member engagement, operational performance and organisational culture across the UK and Europe.

With more than 30 years’ leadership experience across the leisure, hospitality, travel and customer service sectors, Mia brings extensive expertise in strategy, governance, organisational development, and customer experience.

Mia is passionate about ensuring all children have access to movement and the opportunity to learn to swim, recognising swimming as an essential life skill that can build confidence, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys travelling, road cycling and spending time with her family.

Glenn Earlam
Trustee

Glenn is Executive Chair of David Lloyd Clubs, Europe’s leading health, fitness and wellness group. He brings extensive leadership experience from across the leisure and hospitality sector, having previously held senior roles at Merlin Entertainments and serving as Chair and Board member for a number of consumer businesses.

Alongside his commercial career, Glenn has a strong commitment to charitable work. He is a trustee of Change Please and actively supports several charitable causes and community initiatives.

As a trustee of the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation, Glenn is passionate about using the power of movement to create positive, lasting impact in the communities surrounding David Lloyd Clubs.

Glenn is a keen cyclist and enjoys travelling with his family. He is also an avid Manchester City fan!

Nick Marsh
Trustee and Treasurer

Nick is Operational Finance Director at David Lloyd Clubs and a qualified accountant with more than 30 years of experience in the leisure, health and fitness sector.

As a Trustee of the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation, he brings extensive expertise in financial planning, governance and long-term sustainability. Passionate about creating opportunities for young people, he is committed to helping the Foundation deliver lasting impact through the power of movement and ensuring it remains financially strong for the future.

Nick also enjoys playing and watching as much cricket as possible.

Tom McIntosh
Trustee and Safeguarding Lead

Tom is Chief Operating Officer at Sport Birmingham; the Active Partnership for Birmingham and an independent charity focused on improving lives through physical activity and sport. With more than 20 years of experience across the sport, health, and physical activity sector, he brings a considered and collaborative approach to leadership, with expertise in governance, strategy, and programme delivery.

As a Trustee of the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation ,Tom is passionate about helping organisations and partnerships grow in ways that create lasting social impact. His experience spans business development, financial management, safeguarding, and partnership working, with a strong commitment to reducing inequality, strengthening communities and creating healthier, more inclusive places to live and work.

Outside work, Tom enjoys travelling, cooking, spending time with family, and staying active through sport and exercise.

Nina Allard
Trustee

Nina leads Pret’s Corporate Foundation and has spent more than 20 years working in the charity sector, including fundraising roles at Make-A-Wish, The Brain Tumour Charity, Comic Relief and Oxfam.

As a Trustee of the David Lloyd Clubs Together Foundation, she brings extensive experience in fundraising, corporate foundations and charitable strategy. Passionate about helping children access opportunities through movement, Nina is committed to supporting the Foundation as it grows its impact and helps more young people develop essential life skills and confidence.

Outside of her trustee role, Nina enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through skiing, exploring new places and has recently taken up strength training.
