The Together Foundation has been designed to coordinate fundraising across our Clubs, turning shared purpose into real momentum.

Funding sources
The Together Foundation will draw on a combination of three sources:
- Corporate contribution: Discretionary support from David Lloyd Clubs, e.g. through a percentage of profit or supplier and stakeholder contributions.
- Member donations: Direct contributions from Club Members, e.g. a contactless donation during a fundraising drive.
- Club fundraising: Locally-organised activity, e.g. a sponsored runs or walks.
Funding where it matters most
With support from PwC, we have developed a transparent, data-led methodology to ensure funding is directed to the children and communities with the greatest need. Focusing on the areas surrounding our Clubs, our approach considers various barriers to movement and wellbeing, such as deprivation, access to green space and the number of children who could benefit. Above all, it helps us prioritise investment fairly and consistently.

By combining independent governance with a robust, needs-based allocation model, the Foundation aims to deliver meaningful, measurable impact in the communities we serve.

Whether you're a David Lloyd Clubs member or not, you can get involved by donating, fundraising, volunteering or simply spreading the word.
David Lloyd Clubs has already committed £800,000 to establish the Foundation and fund the first 34 programmes, which will launch at the start of the 2026/27 school year.
