Funding sources
The Together Foundation will draw on a combination of three sources:
- Corporate contribution: Discretionary support from David Lloyd Clubs, e.g. through a percentage of profit or supplier and stakeholder contributions.
- Member donations: Direct contributions from Club Members, e.g. a contactless donation during a fundraising drive.
- Club fundraising: Locally-organised activity, e.g. a sponsored runs or walks.
Funding where it matters most
With support from PwC, we have developed a transparent, data-led methodology to ensure funding is directed to the children and communities with the greatest need. Focusing on the areas surrounding our Clubs, our approach considers various barriers to movement and wellbeing, such as deprivation, access to green space and the number of children who could benefit. Above all, it helps us prioritise investment fairly and consistently.
